Kids' Worship

Kids' Worship is held in the Adventure Building during both services. Children must be escorted to the Adventure Building before the sermon and picked up after service has ended.

Bible Classes

Bible classes are held for all ages at 10am. Check at the Welcome Desk for current room assignments.

Safety precautions

Volunteers will sanitize when entering the Adventure Building.

Toys and surfaces will be regularly sanitized.

Social distancing is encouraged in pick up lines.

Not Ready to Return?

We understand that many of our families will continue to stay home during this season and we support you doing whatever is safest for your family from a physical, emotional, and spiritual standpoint. Activity bags, baby seats, and toys will continue to be available in the back of the auditorium should you choose to attend church in person but keep your children with you.

At Providence Road, we have a heart for your child's heart. We strive to provide a safe environment, plant the seeds for a lifelong relationship with Jesus, and make friends along the way! Year-round, we offer developmentally appropriate programming where kids can experience Jesus in a way that excites them.

Visiting? Here's what you need to know:

Safety

Safety is of the utmost importance to us. All of our staff and volunteers have gone through the Safechurch program to ensure that your child is safe at all times. This includes background checks, reference checks, a minimum tenure of six months, personal interviews, and training prior to serving with children.

Check-In

You will register your children at our check in station. You will receive three stickers (two if not checking into the nursery). One for you, one for any diaper bags or backpacks, and one for your child. The barcodes on your stickers will match and you will need to bring your sticker to pick your child up from class or nursery.

Babies and Toddlers

Babies: Our baby nursery is for babies ages 6 weeks to 23 months. It is located in our main building. Babies are welcome in the nursery during service.

Toddlers: Our toddler nursery is also in our main building. 2 year olds are welcome to play during service.

NOTE: Our Baby and Toddler nurseries are currently combined, meeting in the Toddler nursery, room 18.

Nursing and Cuddle Rooms: Not quite ready for nursery? We have two nursing rooms in our main building. One is in the back of our auditorium. This room has one way windows so you can see into service but your privacy is protected. Rocking chairs, snacks, a refrigerator, blankets, diapers and wipes, and a changing table are provided. There is also a nursing room inside the baby nursery. This room has rocking chairs and a changing table as well. The sermon is also broadcast into this room for convenience.

PKM (Providence Kids' Ministry): 3 years-3rd grade

3 year olds through 3rd graders are also invited to attend Kids' Worship during our worship services. This age group will begin service in the auditorium with their parents and be released before the sermon. Kids' Worship is an interactive worship experience for kids. In Kids' Worship we sing, memorize scripture, and learn Bible stories in a way that is fun and engaging! For safety, please escort your child to the Adventure Building and return there to pick them up directly after service.

456: 4th-6th grade

The goal of 456 is to begin to transition our kids into the youth ministry. We continue to deliver age appropriate teaching but we do so in an environment that is more similar to the youth group's. We also encourage a community and relationship building aspect which is more characteristic of our youth ministry as well.

We join the youth group as well as have our own special time together on Sunday nights 5-7pm at the building.

Our Preteens also enjoy monthly activities that are just for them and their friends are welcome too!
