What are LifeGroups?
LifeGroups are small gatherings of Providence Road family and their friends, which are held in homes around the Charlotte area. The groups choose what day and time will best suit them, and they usually meet on a weekly basis. LifeGroups also choose a format that is best for their own makeup, but each spends time in Bible study and discussion, sharing needs, praying, teaching children (if applicable), singing and sometimes eating!
We seek to be a place where everyone has a sense of belonging, and this is better established when one is closely associated with a smaller “core” group of friends within the church. LifeGroups provide “family” relationships in which we can share, learn, serve each other, and as a group, minister to our community.
Personal growth does not happen in isolation. We cannot be all that God intended us to be if we try to take our spiritual walk on a narrow path for one. God created us to work together, to act as one, and to depend on each other. (1 Cor. 12:12-26)
